The Columbus Dispatch announced on its website today that it would be laying off 45 newsroom employees effective April 3rd.
"We will have a smaller but no less dedicated staff working each day to bring our readers the news of central Ohio," editor Benjamin J. Marrison wrote.
Employees will know their fate as early as 7:00 a.m tomorrow morning
According to one staffer, Dispatch employees were given the option of being informed either by email or phone whether they will be let go, kept on, or re-assigned.
